Maroons Double Nationals 8-4

The Chatham Maroons doubled the London Nationals 8-4 on Sunday.

The Maroons took a 2-0 lead in the first period and extended it to 4-1 in the second. An action packed final frame saw London score three goals, but Chatham scored four of their own to ensure the win.

Declan Conway led the Maroons with two goals, while Ian Faubert, Dede Cato, Gus Ford, Steven Beenackers, Austin Thompson and Devin Panzeca each had one.

The Maroons are back on the ice on Thursday to take on the Sarnia Legionnaires at 7:10pm.
