Christian Fischer led the Windsor Spitfires to a 6-4 win over the Flint Firebirds on Saturday.
The two teams were neck-and-neck in the first period scoring two goals each, but the Spitfires scored another four in the second to take a 6-3 lead going into the final frame. Both teams scored once in the third to end the game with Windsor in the lead.
Fischer was top scorer for Windsor with a hat-trick, while Bradley Latour scored two. Aaron Luchuk also scored once in the win.
The Spitfires will take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds next on Sunday at 2:07pm.
