The Sarnia Sting have dug themselves into a hole in their first round series against Sault Ste. Marie, trailing the Greyhounds 2-0.
Sault Ste. Marie scored the lone goal in the opening frame with Zachary Senshyn picking up his first of the series in the final minutes.
Similar to game one, the Greyhounds took control in the second period, scoring three goals and out shooting the Sting 14-8.
The home side battled back in the third, with Anthony Salinitri and Matt Mistele scoring as the Sting pushed for a third period comeback. However it was too little too late as Senyshyn scored his second of the night to give the Greyhounds the three goal cushion, capping off the 5-2 victory.
