Chatham's James McEwan didn't get called by any NHL teams during the draft, but he still has the attention of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
McEwan has been invited to take part in the team's annual prospect development camp, which starts today and runs until July 2.
The 19-year-old former Chatham Maroons forward scored 25 goals and added 27 assists last season with the Guelph Storm, leading the OHL team in scoring with 52 points in 68 games.
McEwan was ranked 202nd among North American skaters in the NHL Central Scouting's mid-term rankings, but moved up 39 spots to finish at 163rd shortly before the draft.
