The Blenheim Blades shutout the Essex 73's 1-0 in PJHL action on Tuesday.
Drew Marlatt scored the game winner for the Blades 16-57 into the first period. Blenheim held on against the 73's during scoreless second and third periods to earn the win.
Blades goaltender Eric Stewardson made 36 saves in the win. Matt Badour made 19 saves out of 18 shots on net for Essex.
The Blades are back on the ice on Friday to take on the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7pm. And then at 7:30pm, the 73's take on the Kings in Dresden.
