The Windsor Spitfires are looking for their fourth straight win when they take on the Flint Firebirds at the WFCU on Thursday.
The Spitfires have won six games and lost two heading into week four of the regular season. That ranks the team at #3 in the Canadian Hockey League.
"We've been in a fight every game. We've won six and lost two but it's not like we've had a single easy game so far this year. We've had to claw and scratch and it comes down right to the wire," says Head Coach Rocky Thompson.
So far this season Flint has won four games and lost three games, one loss was in a shootout.
"We know that the only thing you control is how hard you work and if you outwork every team every night then it gives you a chance to win and that's kinda of our motto in the room right now, we want to outwork every team," says Centreman Logan Brown.
On Friday the Spitfires take on the Knights in London for a rematch of Sunday's game. The Spits won 5-4 in overtime Sunday.
