Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – October 19, 2016

The LaSalle Vipers scored a 6-2 victory over the St. Thomas Stars in GOJHL action on Wednesday.

Tyler Russell, Brett Primeau, Brendan Soto, Ryan Sarris, Daniel Beaudoin and Liam MacDougall each scored a goal for LaSalle.

The Vipers head to Chatham to take on the Maroons on Sunday at 7pm.

The Leamington Flyers fell 4-3 to the London Nationals.

Ethan Nother, Quinn Lenihan, Colin Wilson and Adam Sinclair each scored once for London.

Mitchell Crevatin, Griffin Robinson and Brett Vorshuk scored the three goals for Leamington.

The Flyers are at home on Thursday to take on the Chatham Maroons at 7:10pm. The Nationals are back on the ice on Saturday to take on the Strathroy Rockets at 7:30pm.

In the PJHL, the Wallaceburg Lakers' losing streak continued with a 6-2 loss to the Amherstburg Integrity Admirals.

Ryan Alexander led the Admirals with two goals, while Cory Burns, Mark MacPherson, Josh Oberg and Kasey Basile each scored once.  Josh Oberg and Justin Lindsay scored the two goals for Wallaceburg.

The Admirals will take on the Blenheim Blades on Saturday at 7:30pm. And on Sunday, the Lakers head to Petrolia to take on the Flyers at 7:30pm.

The Lakeshore Canadiens scored a 5-1 win over the Mooretown Flags.

Mejoe Gasparovic, Kyler Carter, Steven Sartor, Colin Sartor and Kyle Gagnon all scored once for Lakeshore.

The Canadiens will take on the Wheatley Sharks next on Friday at 7pm.
