Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – December 9, 2016

The Essex 73's edged the Dresden Kings 2-1 on Friday to earn their 11th straight win.

Blake McConville and Dalton Langlois both scored for Essex.

Derek Shaw scored the one goal for Dresden.

The Kings will travel to Wheatley to take on the Sharks on Monday at 7pm. And then on Tuesday, the 73's are at home to battle the Lakeshore Canadiens at 7pm.

Also in the PJHL, the Lakeshore Canadiens doubled the Blenheim Blades 6-3.

Connor Rosaasen led Lakeshore with two goals, while JJ Percy, Joe Binder, Jake Nimmo and Kyler Carter all had one.

Kier Cumming scored twice for Blenheim and Matt Clark scored once.

The Canadiens are in Mooretown on Saturday to take on the Flags at 7:30pm. And then on Sunday, the Blades face off against the Wheatley Sharks in Blenheim at 7pm.
