A bad night for Leafs and Red Wings fans.

The Toronto Maple Leafs fell 3-1 to Colorado while Detroit lost 1-0 in overtime to Philadelphia.

The Leafs peppered the net with shots, but Avalanche goaltender Semyon Varlamov made 51 saves in the win.

In the NFL - the New York Giants beat the Dallas Cowboys in the Sunday night game.

Dallas has only lost twice this season -- and both of those losses were against the Giants.

The Detroit Lions also won. They beat Chicago 20-17 in another dramatic come-from-behind victory.

In the NBA -- the Pistons lost to the 76ers by a score of 97-79.
