Dillon Liberty scored four goals and added an assist as the Dresden Kings beat the Flags in Mooretown Saturday night 6-5.
The game gave Liberty a PJHL leading 44 goals on the season so far. He is second in overall points with 75.
Liberty`s assist came on the first goal of the game, when the Kings` Kevin Ritzer opened things up at 13:38 in the opening period. Mooretown then got three straight goals in the period, with Ben Morrison tying the game at 16:21. Greg Hay scored the other two for a 3-1 Flags lead at first intermission.
Liberty got one goal back on the power play at 2:29 in the second period, only to have Mooretown`s Brett Farr answer back shorthanded at 5:14 for a 4-2 Mooretown lead. Liberty struck again on the power play later in the period but Dresden trailed 4-3 at the second interval.
Liberty scored two more goals in the third to not only pick up a hat trick in the game, but also tie it for the Kings and give them the lead. Ryan Malott added an insurance goal at 8:53 in the third. Greg Hay picked up a hat trick of his own by scoring on the power play at 10:08.
Dresden outshot the Flags 24-19. They travel to Blenheim on Thursday night. This game comes after the Blades have faced the Flags on Monday night.

Scott Florence scored twice as the Leamington Flyers beat the Rockets in Strathroy Saturday night 2-1.
Florence`s goals accounted for all Leamington scoring in the game. The first goal was at 6:07 in the first period to open the scoring on both sides. Strathroy`s Greg Marks tied it up on the power play at 18:46.
There was no scoring in the second period, though Strathroy`s Lucas Latina and Leamington`s Zak Parlette earned ten minute misconducts in the period for inciting an opponent. Florence`s second goal, at 11:37 in the third period and on the power play, was the game winner.
Noah Hedrick was the winner in goal for Leamington with 34 out of 35 saves. Carson Poulin had 23 saves for Strathroy.
The Rockets travel to Sarnia Thursday night to face the Legionnaires, while the Flyers host the Lambton Shores Predators.
