Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – January 27, 2017

The St. Marys Lincolns edged the LaSalle Vipers 4-3 on Friday to snap their five-game win streak.

Liam MacDougall, Jack Van Boekel and Tyler Russell each scored once for LaSalle.

The Vipers will take on the Nationals in LaSalle on Sunday at 2:30pm.

Also, the London Nationals topped the St. Thomas Stars 7-2.

Brandon Glover was the top scorer for London with a hat trick, while Kyle Dawson, Michael Andlauer, Liam Fordy and Austin Kemp all scored once.

The Nationals will play the Vipers on Sunday at 2:30pm. The puck drops in LaSalle at 2:30pm.

And in Junior C hockey, the Dresden Kings crushed Wallaceburg 7-1 in the Lakers' sixth straight loss.

Logan Purbrick and Kadin Ritchie both scored twice of Dresden, while Ryan Malott, Eric Carter and Derek Shaw each scored once.

Alex Noorenberghe scored Wallaceburg's only goal.

The Lakers are in Mooretown on Saturday to take on the Flags at 7:30pm.

The Lakeshore Canadiens shutout the Petrolia Flyers 3-0.

Mejoe Gasparovic scored twice for Lakeshore, while Joe Binder had one goal.

The Canadiens will head to Amherstburg on Sunday to face off against he Admirals. Puck drop is at 7pm.
