The Essex 73's hammered the Wheatley Sharks 7-1 on Tuesday in the final regular season game for both teams.
Eric Shaw led Essex with a hat trick, while Matthew Rosati, Anthony Cristofaro, Luke Gecse and Adam Gaiarin each scored once.
Cam Pickersgill scored the single goal for Wheatley.
The Sharks will head to Amherstburg on Wednesday to take on the Admirals in Game 1 of their PJHL playoff series. And on Friday, the 73's are at home to take on the Mooretown Flags in Game 1 of their playoff series.
