The colour black is being eliminated from the Detroit Lions' brand.
The team unveilled its logo with a silver outline, instead of black, this morning.
It also released a new typeface for the words "Detroit Lions."
The organization plans to uncover a new uniform design on April 13.
"Throughout the rebranding process, we made it a priority to emphasize our classic color combination of Honolulu blue and silver, which has been synonymous with the Detroit Lions since 1934," said the team, in an official statement.
