Jr. Hockey Wrap Up – March 2, 2017

The Lakeshore Canadiens have eliminated the Blenheim Blades following a 4-2 Game 6 victory on Thursday.

Nick Tavolieri-Essex led the Canadiens with two goals, while Joe Binder and Connor Rosaasen both scored once.

Bryce Broad and John Montgomery scored the two goals for Blenheim.

The Canadiens won the best-of-seven PJHL playoff series 4-2, and will now face the Essex 73's in the Stobbs Division Finals.

The Leamington Flyers edged the Sarnia Legionnaires 4-3 in Game 1 to kick off the first round of the GOJHL playoffs.

Scott Florence, Blake Bain, Brett Vorshuk and Griffin Robinson all sacored once for Leamington.

Game 2 is on Saturday at 7:10pm in Sarnia.
