Spitfires Looking At Balanced 2017-18 Schedule

The reigning Mastercard Memorial Cup Champion Windsor Spitfires return to the ice to play meaningful hockey games again on September 21.

The OHL has released its 2017-2018 regular season schedule.

The Spits play four of their first five games at home, including the opener against the Saginaw Spirit.

The team's longest road trip will be just four games long, and is featured in a stretch between October 22 and November 10, where Windsor plays seven of eight games away from the WFCU Centre.

It'll see a similar homestand between February 8 and March 1, where it plays eight of ten games at home.

Fans will have to wait until November 4 to see a rematch of Mastercard Memorial Cup Final, although that game will be played in Erie. Windsor will host the Otters for the first time on December 7.
