Admirals Double Up Mooretown 4-2

The Amherstburg Integrity Admirals scored a trio of third period goals on their way to a 4-2 win over the Flags Saturday night in Mooretown.

The Admirals move into a fifth place tie with the Blenheim Blades in the PJHL Stobbs Division with 15 points. The Flags sit in second place with 20 points.

The Flags got on the board first with a power play goal from Ryan Lyle at 9:30 of the first period. David Cooke tied it up for the Addys later in the period and it was 1-1 at the first intermission.

Logan Gardner gave Mooretown the lead again with the only second period score, on the power play.

The three Amherstburg goals in the third frame came off the sticks of Caleb Paquette, Ryan Holzel and Dylan Muzzatti in order. Paquette and Muzzatti also got an assist each in the third.

Ben Larder got the win for the Admirals with 41 shots stopped out of 43. Nolan Hakr had 33 saves in the loss for the Flags.

Amherstburg hosts Wheatley Sunday night while Mooretown welcomes the Essex 73s on Saturday, November 4.
