Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up – November 2, 2017

The LaSalle Vipers fell 5-1 to the Leamington Flyers on Thursday.

Cody Schneider, Blake Bain, Maddux Rychel, Blake Johnson and Preston Corp all scored once for Leamington.

Tyler Russell scored LaSalle's only goal of the game.

The Flyers are in St. Thomas on Friday to take on the Stars at 7:30pm. And then on Wednesday, the Vipers are back on home ice to face off against the Chatham Maroons at 7pm.

Also in the GOJHL, the Sarnia Legionnaires edged the London Nationals 3-2 in double overtime.

Carson Brookshaw and Luke Drewitt scored the two goals for London.

The Nationals are up against the Strathroy Rockets next on Wednesday. The puck drops at 7:30pm in London.

And in Junior C hockey action, the Blenheim Blades dropped a 4-1 decision to the Petrolia Flyers.

Drew Marlatt scored once for Blenheim.

The Blades are on home ice on Sunday to take on the Flyers again at 7pm.
