Jr. Hockey Wrap-Up — December 22, 2017

The LaSalle Vipers topped the St. Thomas Stars 3-1 in GOJHL action on Friday.

Aidan Ryan, Bryce Ryan and Tyler Russell all scored one goal for LaSalle.

The Vipers return home on January 3 to take on the St. Marys Lincolns at 7pm.

And in Junior C hockey, the Blenheim Blades edged the Dresden Kings 4-3 in overtime.

Michael Vanek, Ryan Malott and Bryce Broad each scored once for Blenheim, while John Montgomery scored the game-winner in OT.

Geoffry VandenBoorn led Dresden with two goals, and Nolan VandenBoorn scored the other.

The Blades will travel to Mooretown on Saturday to take on the Flags at 7:30pm. And then on Wednesday, the Kings are in Amherstburg to battle the Admirals at 7pm.

As well, the Lakeshore Canadiens beat the Mooretown Flags 6-4.

Stephane Crevier led Lakeshore with two goals, while Matt Teno, Jarrett Tazzman, Brandon Ireland and Michael Long all added a goal of their own.

The Canadiens will face the Lakers next in Wallaceburg on Wednesday at 7:30pm.
