The Dresden Kings beat the Blenheim Blades 5-1 Sunday night.
Kenny Chisholm scored the first goal of the night for Dresden. The Kings maintained their lead with three more goals in the first and second periods. David Cooke scored the first and only goal for Blenheim. Brendan Ritchie then scored the final goal for Dresden in the third period.
The Blades are back on the ice December 30 to face the Essex 73's. The Dresden Kings will have a longer break, they're back in action January 4, 2019 to play the Wallaceburg Lakers.

The Essex 73's are celebrating a win after beating the Amherstburg Admirals 6-0.
Dallas Anderson scored the first goal for the 73's, with assists from Jack Sanko and Justin Bondy. Matt Zelko scored the final goal in the third period, which was his sixth goal of the season.
The Admirals are home to play Petrolia on December 30.

The St. Thomas Stars and St. Marys Lincolns went to double overtime Sunday night, finishing with a 2-2 score.
Carter Schoonderwoerd got an unassisted goal for the Lincolns in the first period. Liam Fedak and Colton Wiacek each scored a goal for St. Thomas. The final goal made in the third period was by Blair Butchart for the Lincolns.
The St. Marys Lincolns will be in LaSalle January 2, 2019 to face the Vipers. Meanwhile, the Stars are at Leamington January 3, 2019.
