The Windsor Express will help fans warm up for the upcoming season with an exhibition in Chatham.
The club will play a preseason game on January 6, 2024, at the HealthPlex Gym on St. Clair College's Chatham campus.
The Express will play Milwaukee's NPBA Elite team at 7 p.m. Before that, at 4 p.m., Ursuline College Chatham will play the boys' team at St. Anne Catholic High School.
The team says it'll be the second time the Express plays for fans in Chatham-Kent. And the best part is it's free.
"We’re looking forward to kicking off our inaugural season in the Basketball Super League with this preseason game in Chatham," said Express Owner and CEO Dartis Willis in a media release. "Chatham Barbers and The Closet Inc. are community leaders in Chatham and we are excited to partner with them to provide the community the opportunity to enjoy two exciting basketball games for free."
The free tickets are made possible through Chatham Barbers and The Closet Inc. and will cover access to both games.
Space at the HealthPlex Gym is limited, so free tickets can be reserved on the Windsor Express' official website. Courtside seats are also available, for $20 each.
