Chatham Thunder saw success over the weekend in all age groups at Western Region Ringette Association regionals in London.
The U14 age group won gold against St. Mary's on Sunday 4-2.
U14 started the weekend losing to rivals Mitchell by a score of 5-4. The team then went on to defeat Etobicoke 5-0 and Burlington 5-2.
At the beginning of the gold medal game the Thunder were down by two but eventually got four goals winning the game.
The U19 age group also had a successful weekend getting silver during the regional championships.
Chatham lost to Elora-Fergus 2-1 Sunday afternoon.
The Thunder opened the weekend playing Niagara Falls winning the game 4-3.
On Saturday, the team then played the Goderich Ice Crushes and won 2-1, which automatically put the team in the final through the round robin.
Chatham played Elora-Fergus twice over the weekend with the Thunder losing 3-2 on Saturday before playing in the final.
For U19, this is the first time in seven years the team did not get gold.
Meanwhile, the Under10 Fun 3 team had one win and two losses over the weekend in a difficult pool.
