Canada Chili Cook Off 2026
Get ready to turn up the heat this fall at the 1st Annual Canada Chili Cook Off, taking place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 100 King Street West in Downtown Chatham, Ontario.
Presented by Memorie Lane Inc., this exciting event is an officially sanctioned competition of the International Chili Society (ICS), giving competitors the opportunity to compete at the World Championship Chili Cook-Off.
The Canada Chili Cook Off will bring together competitive chili cooks, food enthusiasts, families, and community supporters for a full day of delicious food, live entertainment, and friendly competition.
Competitors will battle for cash prizes and bragging rights in four sanctioned categories:
• Traditional Red Chili • Homestyle Chili • Verde Chili • Vegetarian Chili
A special Youth Division will also allow aspiring young chefs to showcase their culinary talents.
Beyond the competition, visitors can enjoy the Harvest Market, local vendors, community displays, entertainment, and a vibrant festival atmosphere in the heart of downtown Chatham. Food vendors, exhibitors, sponsors, and community organizations will come together to create a unique experience for attendees of all ages.
Proceeds from the event will support BGC Chatham-Kent, helping provide valuable programs and opportunities for local youth throughout our community.
