Damage is pegged at $150,000 after fire ripped through a home in London's east end.
Fire crews were called to Giles St. just after 4:30 this morning.
Investigators say the fire broke out in a basement wood shop and burned its way through the floor.
The people inside the house and two dogs made it outside safe.
"We did have to use the special pet masks we have along with oxygen to help one of the dogs," says Rick Jefferson with the London Fire Department. "Make sure you're well protected by smoke alarms, you need that early warning, especially if you have flammables in the house."
Jefferson tells BlackburnNews.com the fire is still under investigation but it is not believed to be suspicious.
