OPP say officers were called to the area of 27th Line, south of Road 92 around 1am on January 11.
A southbound snowmobile lost control and struck a tree in the east ditch.
The man driving the snowmobile was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
Any witnesses are asked to contact Oxford County OPP.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
