Valuable Hockey Card Collection Stolen

The OPP is searching for two men after $200,000 worth of hockey memorabilia was stolen from a Norfolk County home.

The theft happened sometime between March 29 and April 18.

Investigators say the owner was selling his card collection and met with two men at a convenience store in Simcoe. Both said they wanted to see the card collection and the owner took them to his home.

He showed the two men a binder with several Wayne Gretzky cards in it. While one of the thieves distracted the owner, police say the other took the binder and then said they had to go.

The vehicle the two thieves left in has four doors and is black.

The first suspect is described as white man, 6'2" tall with short hair and an earring in the right ear.

The second suspect is described as a white male with grey hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
