A 77-year-old man is charged with careless driving after police allege he caused a collision that killed a 16-year-old motorcyclist.
OPP officers were called to the intersection of Line 40 and Road 110, northeast of Stratford, around 11am Wednesday morning.
The OPP says the pickup truck had crossed Line 40 while travelling southbound on Road 110, directly into the path of an eastbound motorcycle.
Line 40 is a through highway, while Road 110 is controlled by stop signs.
Jeremy Wickenheiser, 16, from Perth East, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Arnold Vanmoorsel is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
