Wanted Arsonist Known To Frequent Oxford County

A criminal, who is known to frequent the Kingston and Oxford County areas, is currently wanted by police.

The Ontario Provincial Police's Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement Squad is asking for the public’s help in locating Douglas Archer, who is wanted for breaching a Long Term Supervision Order.

Archer is serving an eight-year and six-month sentence for arson with disregard to human life, ten counts of arson causing damage to property, attempting to commit arson, criminal harassment, possession of incendiary material, two counts of mischief under $5,000, criminal harassment, and three counts of breaching a long-term supervision order.

He is described as a 62-year-old white male, 5’8” tall, 186 lbs, with blue eyes, long blond hair, and a long blond beard.

Anyone with information regarding Archer's whereabouts is asked to contact the OPP's ROPE Squad at 1-416-808-5900 or 1-866-870-ROPE (7673). Residents can also contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
