UPDATE: Wanted Federal Offender Found

Douglas Archer, a convicted arsonist who was at large after breaching his parole, is back in custody.

He was arrested without incident on Tuesday in the Thunder Bay area after three days on the lam. OPP had said he had ties to Oxford County and Kingston.

Authorities say he was serving a sentence of just under three-and-a-half years for breach of a long-term supervision order when he breached his parole.

He has previous convictions for several offences including arson with disregard to human life, mischief and criminal harassment.
