October 7 has been confirmed as the date for a preliminary hearing for Boris Panovski to get underway.
The 70-year-old Panovski has been in custody since last September when he was charged with first-degree murder in the September 13, 2014 shooting death of Don Frigo of Caledon and the wounding of Frigo's wife Eva Willer at the Hullett Wildlife Area near Clinton.
Panovski made a video appearance this morning in a Goderich Court.
He will appear again September 16 via video to confirm the date for the preliminary hearing.
In the meantime, Panovski is appealing a decision to deny him access to legal aid.
