Pan Am Games Torch Arrives In London

The 2015 Pan Am Games torch makes it way to London today.

A community celebration featuring live music and the lighting of the community cauldron starts at 5pm in Victoria Park.

Decathlete Damian Warner is London's community torch bearer.

"The Pan Am and Parapan Games will be the largest sport event that Canada has held to date, and we also have numerous local athletes that will be competing in those games," says Director of Sports Tourism for London Cheryl Finn. "I think the flame represents what sport means to individuals, what it means to communities and the fact that it's able to travel nationwide and country to country is very significant."

The Pan Am flame arrived in Toronto on May 30 and is making its way across the country before the start of the games on July 10.

The flame will be at Lord Robert's Public School tomorrow before heading out of the city.
