The London Majors triumphed on Saturday with a 11-6 win over the Hamilton Cardinals.
The Majors were able to outhit the Cardinals 14-12 and are now 9-6 in the season.
First baseman Cleveland Brownlee led the Majors with four hits, while shortstop Paul Lytwynec added three hits and two RBI’s. Byron Reichstein added a three-run home run in the second inning to give the Majors a 5-2 lead.
The Majors take on the Brantford Red Sox on Sunday. First pitch is at 1:05pm.
Hospitals in southwestern Ontario are feeling the effects of underfunding, according to a new report by the CCPA.
Fortunately, no children were on board the bus, but the drivers of both vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
