Record Crowd for Majors Game

The London Majors may have fallen 3-2 to the Brantford Red Sox at Labatt Park on Sunday afternoon, but they packed the park with a record number of fans.

The first day of summer brought 5,134 people to the game. London's Olympic decathlete and Pan Am Games torch-bearer Damian Warner tossed the ceremonial first pitch.

The Red Sox extended their win streak to three at the Majors' expense. Starter Luis Pina took the loss, going seven innings and allowing three runs on six hits, walking four and striking out two.

The Majors travel to Barrie on Wednesday to take on the first-place Baycats.
