Along with most of Southwestern Ontario, A rainfall warning is in effect for London and Middlesex County
Rain, at times heavy, is expected throughout the afternoon today as a strong low pressure system over Ohio will bring comes over the region today and tonight as it tracks northeast just south of Lake Erie.
The heaviest rain will move out of the Windsor and Sarnia areas by this evening, and later on tonight for regions further east, including London.
Latest indications now suggest that many areas will receive near 50 millimetres of rain by Sunday morning. Locally higher rainfall amounts are possible in areas that receive downpours during a brief thunderstorm.
