Julie Sawchuk, 41, was hit by a Volkswagen Jetta as she rode on Blyth Rd. near Council Ln. around 8:45am Wednesday.
Huron OPP say the car hit her from behind, throwing her from her bike into an adjacent grass field.
Sawchuk was airlifted to hospital.
The OPP is still investigating.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
