A two month undercover operation by St. Thomas police has led to charges against five people and the seizure of drugs and weapons.
The investigation, which ended July 30, saw undercover officers buy crystal meth, hydromorphone, and marijuana. Police also raided a home on William St. and found more narcotics, a replica firearm, and makeshift weapons.
Among the weapons found was a baseball bat that had screws protruding from the barrel.
Police have not released the names of the people charged or the amount of drugs seized.
