Updated: London police issued a media release at 8:53am stating that Denise Lapointe has returned home and is safe. They thank the public for it's assistance.

The London Police Service is asking for the public's help in locating a 59-year-old London woman.
Denise Lapointe was last seen September 1 around 10am near Pond Mills Rd. and Commissioners Rd. E in London. Police and family are concerned for Denise's welfare.
She is described as Caucasian, 5'0", 260 lbs with short dark hair. Denise was last seen wearing a green t-shirt and black pants and driving a blue 2005 Chevrolet Malibu, with Ontario license plate AXJK073.
Anyone with information relating to the whereabouts of Denise is asked to call London Police Service at 519-661-5670.
