A London pilot is dead after a small, single-propeller plane crashed into a farmer's field outside Stoney Creek Airport.
According to a report by the Hamilton Spectator, the Transportation Safety Board (TSB) says the early assumption is the single-engine plane crashed shortly after takeoff on Friday.
It is believed no passengers were on board the aircraft at the time of the crash.
The name of the 54-year-old London man has not yet been released to the public.
The TSB has deployed a team of investigators to the site.
