A Woodstock man is facing a slew of charges after allegedly robbing an Ingersoll grocery store and threatening employees.
Tyler Binns, 29, was arrested on September 20 and faces charges of robbery with a weapon , theft, possession of a weapon for a dangerous person, possession of property obtained by crime, escaping lawful custody and failing to comply with his probation order.
Police were called to the Independent Grocer on King St. in Ingersoll around 5pm on September 17.
Investigators say a man entered the store, put several items in his cart and left without paying. Employees followed him and asked him to come back when he pulled a knife and threatened them.
When leaving the parking lot in his car, the man hit a parked car and continued to flee.
Binns was arrested three days later without incident and remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
