Frontenacs Down Knights In Shootout

The London Knights fell 6-5 in a shootout with the Frontenacs, after Kingston battled their way back from a three goal deficit.

On Saturday, the Knights held a 3-0 advantage until the half way through the second period when Kingston was able to score three of their own. London held a 4-3 lead going into the third, but the Frontenacs tied the game 5-5, scoring the tying goal with 21 seconds left on the clock.

After no goals in overtime, Kingston scored the game winner in a shootout.

JJ Piccinich, Olli Juolevi, Matthew Tkachuk, Owen MacDonald and Kole Sherwood each score once for London.

The Knights will take on the Windsor Spitfires on Friday at 7:30pm.
