The weather agency first issued the warning on Friday expecting lake effect flurries in the region throughout the weekend. There was also a potential for up to 15 C of snowfall in some areas in southern Ontario.
The warning ended for the area around 3pm on Sunday.
The City of Windsor plans to open its outdoor skating rink in Lanspeary Park this coming Sunday.
