Provincial police say a suspect has been arrested in the murder of Carson Ireland.
The 66-year-old was found shot to death in his home on River Rd. on the Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation on December 21, 2014.
At the time, police said they were looking for a suspect described as a “tall, non-white male, wearing dark clothing and driving a light coloured vehicle.”
Police say the arrest was made on Thursday. According to an OPP news release, charges are pending against an adult male.
No name will be released until charges are filed.
