The St. Thomas Police Service says on Friday, the victim reported to police that another man approached him on Ross St., pulled a machete from a sheath and said he was going to kill him.
Police later arrested a 22-year-old suspect who has been remanded into custody for a bail hearing.
No one was injured during the incident and police say the accused and the victim are known to each other.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
