Provincial police are hoping a thief will return one very important item that was stolen from a vehicle in Simcoe.
Early Friday morning, an unlocked vehicle parked at the side of the road was entered and several items were stolen, including cremated remains.
The ashes of a loved one of the vehicle's owner were in a Crown Royal bottle, which was inside a velvet bag.
Police say the owner is very upset and hoping to get the remains back.
Anyone with any information is asked to call Norfolk OPP or Crime Stoppers.
