A dangerous situation in Simcoe has resulted in the arrest of one man.
Norfolk Ontario Provincial Police say just after midnight Saturday, they responde to a call on Union St.
Through investigation, they learned a suspect broke into the home, displayed a weapon and sexually assaulted a woman inside.
After taking off on foot, police soon tracked him down and placed him under arrest.
Now 24-year-old Joshua Devon Barr of no fixed address is charged with sexual assault with a weapon and break and enter. The investigation is ongoing.
