It was a milestone win for Dale Hunter as the London Knights beat Saginaw 7-0 on Saturday.
The victory marked Hunter's 600th as a coach in the Ontario Hockey League. He is just the sixth coach in league history to hit the 600 win mark. He's also the fastest to reach 600 wins, doing so in just 906 games as a coach.
His winning percentage over 15 seasons behind the Knights bench is .696, the best in league history among coaches with at least 200 wins.
Aiden Jamieson got the scoring started for the Knights before Max Jones scored the first of his three goals on the night to make it 2-0. Mitch Marner, Christian Dvorak, and Matthew Tkachuk also scored for London.
Tyler Parsons stopped 22 shots for the shutout.
