The North American Aerospace Defense Command will have fighter jets in the air, conducting flight exercises near London between 10am and 12pm.
Although the bi-national Canadian and American command will not say where these flights will be conducted, they are saying the purpose of the exercise is to practice intercept and identification procedures.
People in the region may hear or see low-flying NORAD controlled fighter jets flying closely to other aircraft, which will be playing the part of an aircraft of interest.
NORAD says it routinely conducts exercises of this nature throughout Canada and the United States and that all exercises are carefully planned and closely monitored.
NORAD provides maritime warning, aerospace warning and aerospace control for Canada and the United States.
