Police were called to a home on York St. around 8:40pm Sunday. They say there was an altercation involving two men which ended with one of the men being "pricked" with an uncapped syringe. The victim was taken to hospital.
Officers took a 33-year-old man into custody. He's charged with assault with a weapon.
The man was charged in March with sexual assault offences.
Both couples won in the April 11 draw.
