Despite taking 32 shots on goal, the London Knights weren't able to put the puck in the net Wednesday night and fell to the Guelph Storm 3-0. The Knights first loss in five games came at the hands of the lowest scoring team in the OHL who fired 28 times at London's Tyler Parsons.
The game was scoreless at the end of the first period, but Guelph picked up the pace in the second, with goals scored by Nate Schnarr and Nick Deakin-Poot. Down 2-0 going into the third, the Knights weren't able to get momentum going and an empty-netter scored by Luke Burghardt of the Storm in that period sealed the deal after Parsons was pulled.
Michael Giugovaz got the shutout for the Storm.
The Knights will be back in action this Friday at home taking on the Saginaw Spirit.
