The London Lightning continued a five game winning streak with a 123-115 victory over the Windsor Express on Friday.
The Express fell behind 30-19 in the first quarter but were able to bridge the gap slightly in the second to make it 58-51. Windsor gained their momentum in the third to surpass the Lightning 90-82, however, London regained their lead with less than two minutes left in the game to earn the win.
Akeem Wright led London with 26 points, while Tyshawn Patterson had 25 points and three rebounds.
Tony Bennett was the lead scorer for Windsor with a game high of 32 points. Maurice Bolden and Chris Commons both had 19 points and seven rebounds.
The Lightning will take on the Orangeville A's next on Saturday at 7pm, and the Express will face the Niagara River Lions at 7:30pm.
