Lightning Win At The Buzzer Over A's

The London Lightning's Nick Okorie scored at the buzzer to win the game 87-86 over the Orangeville A’s on Saturday.

The Lightning led after one quarter, but fell behind in the second and third. In the fourth, the game was tied 84-84 with less than two minutes to go, when the A’s hit a jumper to make it 86-84.  With three seconds left, Okorie got an inbound pass and hit a three-pointer to win the game at the buzzer.

Along with the game winning shot, Okorie had 23 points for London, while Tyshawn Patterson added 23 points of his own.

The Lightning return on Friday to take on the Niagara River Lions at 7pm.
